Shalom y'all,
My name is Itzik Tamir, and I am a licensed tour guide in Israel. I was born next to Tel Aviv and lived in a kibbutz next to Eilat during my early 20s. After that, I moved to Jerusalem for 10 years while I studied for my degree in Jewish philosophy and for my tour guide diploma. My life journey brought me to face the mixture of places, culture and people that made me excited about Israel
I bring my passion for Israel to work every day as I work with various groups, ranging from families to couples, youth, and older adults, to show them our lovely country and the different communities that make Israel unique.
I started to work with American youth in 2003, and since then, I’ve led over 2500 people in Israel from different programs and private tours.
Every time I take people with me, it feels as exciting as the first time. I love meeting new people and creating a valuable, fun, and unforgettable experience in the country, I know and love so dearly. During your trip, we will explore Israel’s beautiful nature and scenic locations, local communities and their atmosphere, and the colorful cultures that Israel offers while experience more about our fantastic country.
