In the center of the Golan Heights, at Moshav Kanaf sits the Azizo Farm. Azizo is a lavender farm for lovers of lavender and other natural scents.
At the farm, you will tour the purple beds of lavender, pick and smell various lavender plants and enjoy a relaxing time. After a short tour of the flower beds, you will see the machines that produce the oil, then you will enter to the "secret room". This is where they dry the lavender plant, where you will get a boost of the best scents.
After the tour, it is possible to sit for cup of tea and homemade cookies (do not miss the ice cream!), all made from Lavender.
Of course, there is a shop of souvenirs, such as soaps and other products from the farm.
All is Honey – “Hakol Dvash”
A wonderful place to visit in the Upper Galilee, in the Moshava- Yosod HaMaale area (a “moshava” is a form of agricultural Jewish town).
Hakol Dvash is a factory that produces different types of honey. Very welcoming vibe! When you get there you will have a tour of the place, explaining the process of producing honey. After that, you will have the opportunity to taste different types of honey made of wildflowers, eucalyptus and others. For cosmetics lovers and homemade medicine, you have a section as well, all from honey
I recommend honey from the flowers of the eucalyptus and from the flowers of the avocado.
In short, all is delicious!
When you arrive to Tiberias area, I recommend to drive to Oron Shaul overlook, at the Swiss forest . The overlook was built with the help of the contribution of the Swiss Jewish community.
From the lookout, you will be witnesses to an amazing view. The Sea of Galilee spreads out in front of you, and you can clearly see the size of the lowest fresh water lake in the world. In front of you the beginning of the Golan Heights. While your eyes takes you to look around the kinneret you can see all the kibbutzim around that built before the establishment of Israel. This spot gives you the opportunity to look at different geographic boundaries in Israel, while you having picnic (great place for that) or coffee/tea break.
Osafiya is a Druze-majority village in northern Israel. It also includes Christians, Muslims and a few Jewish households. Located on Mount Carmel, it is part of the Haifa District.
The Druze ethnic group, who departed from Islam in the 11th century, have a population of approximately 150,000 living in Israel, most of whom are located in the mountainous Northern region. The Druze are an integral part of Israeli society and proudly serve in the Israeli army.
A short tour in this village will take you to many authentic shops where you will find homemade soaps from olive and fresh olive oil available as a souvenir. Of course, one cannot end the visit without experiencing the authentic Druze hospitality, complete with excellent food that is full of unique flavors. After the meal it always recommended to have coffee or tea with the locals so you can get a better understanding of the Druze people and their world.
is a wonderful day in Jaffa, one of the most unique neighborhoods in Tel Aviv. With a beautiful combination of 18th century and modern day, Jaffa will wow you with ancient buildings, local market experience, nightlife and a bustling atmosphere.
A tour of the old city will take you to historical sites of cultures and religions, world-favorite food markets, restaurants, and shops.
In Jaffa, you can find local art galleries created by notable artists such as Yoram Gal, Ilana Gor and more. The local cafes are unlike anywhere else in the world with Isareli hospitality, strong coffee and genuine Middle Eastern hookah. Once you’ve seen the history of Jaffa, tasted its food, and tried its coffee, a short walk will take you to the unforgettable South Tel Aviv graffiti experience where art meets the streets.
an energetic experience full of delicious flavors and tantalizing smells. With its mix of Israelis from all over the country and from around the world, it is one of the best ways to get to know the diversity of Israeli culture. While walking through Mahane Yehuda, one of the most popular markets in the entire country, you will have the opportunity to taste a variety of local flavors and interact with a unique combination of cultures and foods. Whether you choose an independent walking tour or a tasting tour with a local guide, you are guaranteed an ebullient and colorful experience!
In the 1990s, several families began to make their way to the Negev to start a new way of life on individual farms. Different from the common practice of communal farming, each of these families had an agricultural dream of starting their own farm, which was possible in the desert of Southern Israel.
I like to take groups with me to these farms special to Naot Farm – on each visit we can tour the farm, visit the goat pens and even pet the goats. During these visits we are able to learn how the farmers milk the goats and, at the end, it is always a pleasure to sit and drink coffee while tasting the local cheeses made from this milk. A truly authentic experience!
Coral Beach in Eilat – the place for people who love the water and the natural world!
It doesn't matter if you come as a family or with a large tour group, everyone comes away with a mesmerizing experience. We will start with a tour of the aquarium of sharks and sea turtles. After that we’ll head to the sea for a close encounter with nature (don't worry, there are no sharks). The water is full of colorful fish, such as the "nemo" fish, seahorses and other beautiful sea creatures!
